IHMVCU membership is open to any person living or working in our 49-county service area and their families. We're a community credit union, and that means being a part of our community is all it takes to join us on the path to financial success! There's
not even a special handshake (but we can make one up, if you want).

In Illinois: Bureau, Carroll, DeKalb, DeWitt, DuPage, Fulton, Hancock, Henderson, Henry, Jo Daviess, Kane, Knox, LaSalle, Lee, Marshall, McDonough, McHenry, McLean, Mercer, Ogle, Peoria, Putnam, Rock Island, Schuyler, Stark, Tazewell, Warren, Whiteside or Woodford County.
In Iowa: Benton, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Des Moines, Dubuque, Henry, Iowa, Jackson, Jasper, Johnson, Jones, Lee, Linn, Louisa, Madison, Muscatine, Polk, Poweshiek, Scott or Washington County.
Join IHMVCU simply through the power of giving
If you live or work in Iowa or Illinois, but outside of our service area, you can become eligible for membership with a $10 donation to the Dream Education Foundation (DEF). Simply select the DEF option inside the application under "What qualifies you for membership?".
DEF is a nonprofit, tax‐exempt, membership-based foundation that provides financial assistance to high school students and credit union employees seeking to advance their education in the areas of finance and accounting. Through our partnership we also provide DEF scholarships to members of our community looking to advance their education.
